RESEARCH CLUB 2018-2019
The research club activities of the academic year 2018-19 started in june 2018.
As a part of the lecture series programme, the department conducted a talk on 28th june 2018 which was delivered by Dr.Deepesh V.K, sub editor Akhanda Jyothi Magazine. In connection with Anti-Hiroshima day a debate on the topic ‘Current Isssues in Indian Politics’ was conducted by Ms.Grace Mary Jose.
In connection with Independence Day a quiz competition was conducted on 18-08- 2018. In connection with ‘Keralapiravi’ a handwritten magazine ‘Historia’ was published on 01-11-2018.
Research club organized a workshop to the students of IIIrd B A on topic IATA and Aviation courses and job opportunities by Speed Wings, Thrissur on 22-11- 2018.
A national seminar on ‘Intellectual Property Rights’ was conducted by the research club of the department on 24th January 2019. Paper presentation competition was conducted by the department on the topic ‘Adivasi Land Rights in Kerala’ on 11th December 2019. Research club conducted discussion on the topic ‘Endosulfan problem in Kasargod’ on 20th February 2018.
Lecture series -3 was conducted on 08-03-2019 on the topic ‘Methodology of Local History’ by P.S.Manoj Kumar. Research club conducted a discussion on the topic ‘Adivasi Struggles in Kerala’ on 12-03-2019 by Dr.Anto Florance.P.
