I am directed to state that the Board of Governors considered the Assessment Report (30.05.2019) on the standarcl of examination and other teaching facilities available at A. J. Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore for purpose of Recognition of MD(Radiotherapy/Radiation Oncology) qualification for ^{01 seat} granied by Raiiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and decided as under: -

recommendations of the PG Expert Group (BoG) and decided to recommend to the Central Government

MD(Radiotherapy/Radiation Oncology) qualification

for 01

seat granted

by Rajiv

Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in respect of students being trained at A. _J. Institute of Medical

Sciences, Mangalore be lecognized and included in the 1st Schedule to the I.M

C

Act, 1956.

The Board of Governors further decided that the recognition so granted shall ^be for ^a maxirnum period of 5 years from the date of Notification upon which the Institute shall have to apply for renewal of recognition. Failure to seek timely renewal of recognition ^as required shall invariably result in stoppage of admission to the Postgradriate Course."

You are therefore requested to norlfy the above qualification ^{at the} earliest.
