OFFICE ORDER
The "AICRP on NSP (Crops):Seed Technology Research" BH 2080 scheme (75:25% ICAR:Sthte share) is in operation at Dept. of Pl. Pathology, BACA, MU, Anand where as "ICAR Seed Project:Seed Production in Agricultural Crops" BH 2030- 10 (ICAR 100%) scheme is in operation at Regional Research Station, AAU, Anand.
Both the schemes are funded by ICAR-Indian institute of Seed Science, Mau (UP). The
"AICRP-NSP (crops)-STR" scheme is regular AICRP scheme having. four (4) sanctioned staff positiOn Which have researCh cornponent. The other scheme "ICAR Seed Project:Seed Production in Agricultural Crops" have no any regular staff-which is mandated for quality seed production.
As per letters received from the Director, IISS, Mau both the schemes "AICRP on NSP (Grops):-STir and "ICAR Seed Project Seed Production in Agricultural Crops"
have been merged and recognized as "AICRP on Seed (Ctops)". Considering funding agency letters read above, Hon. Vice Chancellor has given permission for renaming of scheme.after merging of "AlCRP on NSP (Crops)-STR" and "ICAR. Seed Project:Seed Production in:Agricultural Crops" in to single entity as "AICRP :on Seed (Crops)" from the financial. year 2021-22.. The grant of Seed Technology Researdh :(STR) and Quality Seed Production (OSP) component. will be released' separately on the basis of 75:25 (ICAR:State share) frotn: financial year 2021-22. Moreover, as per funding agency letter Dt 2010312022, the TSP,and SCSP components' grant under "AICIRP on Seed (Crops)"
need to be:treated as 1.00 per cent funding from ICAR,

Note: Responsibility of discontinuation of the scheme and Budget Head after completion ofthe scheme will be of Project Incharge and Unit Head.

In this regard, a letter is received from the Director, IISS, Mau to nominate only single Nodal Officer from amongst the designated officers specifically for seed, who can monitor the entire activity of both the projects (Ref.3).
Considering this, Research Scientist, Regional Research Station, AAU, Anand is hereby nominated as Nodal Officer for both the projects "AICRP on NSP (Crops) : STR"
and "ICAR Seed Project : Seed Production in Agricultural Crops" which may merge (subject to approval of ICAR) as single scheme "AICRP on Seed (Crops)" by ICAR for following the Single Window System (SWS) for overall management of the scheme. The contact details of the Nodal Officer are asunder.
