Gargi’s mission statement is that:
Every student who passes through the portals of the college emerges as a wholly developed individual symbolizing the spirit of enterprise and inquiry that characterizes Gargi.
Objectives:
To achieve the vision and fulfill the mission statement, the college works toward the following objectives:
Provide equal opportunity of excellent education to students coming from diverse sections of society
Encourage innovative methods of teaching-learning for quality education
Promote innovative ideas in research among faculty members and students
Sensitize and escalate the sense of social responsibility among students toward alternate communities
Improve academic performance of students through modern pedagogical tools
Build students’ professional competence in order to acquire positions of leadership
Cultivate proficiency in students through training and programmes in co-curricular involvements and cultural participation
Improve social responsibility among all stakeholders through activities organised by various bodies
Nurture socially conscious, technologically equipped, and environment conscious young minds
Make young women into complete human beings, and inculcate in them mutual respect and appreciation of shared humanity
Expand the alumni network for resource generation, students’ internships and placement opportunities
Promote collaboration with industries and other organisations for research and add-on courses for the students for skill development and enriching academics
