Farewell - Civil ‘21
Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, Civil & Structural Engineering Dept. in association with IE(I) Students’ Chapter Civil, organized a Farewell ceremony for the Civil Engineering students of batch 2017-21 on Friday, 18th June, 2021 at 5pm on MS-Teams platform. The chief guests for the occasion were Er.
Dineshbhai Patel, Ex-BVMite, Civil ’84 batch, Chairman of APMC, Unjha and Er. Ramesh Sharma, Ex-BVMite, Civil ’16 batch, Executive Engineer, R&B Dept. Around 100 participants attended the ceremony.
The Event started with a brief prayer and lamp lighting ceremony in the name of Goddess Saraswati, by Prof. Vimlesh Agrawal. Prof. A.N. Bhavsar welcomed the dignitaries & the students with an introductory speech. There was a mixed flow of emotions, both of joy and of sorrow amongst the students as they shared their reviews and memories of the time they spent at the campus. Faculties, Dr.
H.V. Patel and Dr. Snehal Mevada congratulated and blessed the students for starting a new phase of their life. Dr. D.S. Vyas, member of EC BVM Alumni Association too gave his words of appreciation and guidance to the graduating students for their career.
The Chief Guest of the session Er. Dineshbhai Patel and Er. Dineshbhai Patel shared their life experience on the hurdles one has to face while stepping into the real world as a professional and words of motivation to the budding engineers. Dr. L.B. Zala, HOD, Civil Engg. dept. and Dr. A.K. Verma, HOD, Structural Engg. Dept. gave their remarks and words of impetus, boosting spirits in the students. Dr. I.N. Patel, Principal, BVM, President of the ceremony gave his remarks, instigating “Once a BVMite, always a BVMite” spirit and appreciating the efforts and devotion of students towards excellence of the institute. He motivated the students to outdo their own selves and wished every
success in their lives. Lastly Dr. Darshana Bhatt gave a vote of thanks, applauding and praising the efforts and contribution of students.
