Date: 27-Feb-2015 IIT Ropar invites applications for the following position:
Position: Training & Placement Officer (Industry Liaison Officer)
Job Responsibilities: (i) To communicate with the recruiting companies through Email & Telephone, (ii) To coordinate with Recruiting Companies, Students, and Faculty members for Campus Placement
& Internship activities and Career Development activities, (iii) To search for prospective employers for different branches of engineering and get their contacts and to market IIT Ropar to these companies, (iv) Other works related to Campus Placement & Internship as per the suggestions of faculty in-charge Training & Placement cell.
Educational Qualification and Experience:
• Masters Degree in Science/Engineering/Management/Arts (or an equivalent degree) with at least two years of experience in Teaching/Work experience in industry
Or
Bachelor Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in Teaching/Work experience in industry
Or
Currently working as Training & Placement Officer in reputed Institutes
• Excellent Communication Skills and Computer skills (working with MS Office tools) is must
Location: IIT Ropar, Ropar, Punjab Application Fee: Nil
Job Type: On Contract
Duration: Initially for a period of one year and will be evaluated for further extension based on performance
No. of posts: 01 (One) Age Limit: Nil
Pay: 40,000/- per month (consolidated). A higher salary may be considered for those with higher qualification & experience.
