Subject: DGS M.S.Notice No. 02 of 2021 Reg. - Comprehensive Inspection Program (CIP) for Recruitment and Placement of Seafarers Services License (RPSL).

1. Reference is made to Technical Circular No. 136/2020/Amended, dated 03^rd December 2020 regarding enforcement of a Comprehensive Inspection Program (CIP) for RPS License holders with effect from 01^st April 2021.

2. The Directorate General of Shipping, GOI vide Merchant Shipping Notice No. 02 of 2021, dated 31^st March 2021 has now informed that the effective date of implementation of CIP for RPSL as stated above is deferred for a period of one month.

3. All RPS Companies operating in India are advised to be guided by above.
