Krishna Trust in collaboration with Calcutta Research Group has been engaged almost for a decade in giving recognition to women educationists, health activists, and caregivers working for health and education of girl children and women. Krishna Memorial Awards have been instituted with this aim. Krishna Trust is honoured by conferring these annual awards. The Calcutta Research Group and Krishna Trust are engaged in dialogues with social activists, educational institutions situated at grass root level, and caregivers working for the marginalised section of the society, particularly women. This work has become more important in the background of the pandemic.

In the coming years Calcutta Research Group and Krishna Trust will be organising workshops involving grass root care givers and social activists working on women's health and education particularly the health and education of the girl child.
