THE CENTRE FOR INDUSTRY INSTITUTION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (CIIPP)
The CIIPP (https://www.bbau.ac.in/Centre-CIIPP.aspx) was established during the session 2013-14 for motivating the researchers in Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) to develop research and innovations suitable to the requirements of the contemporary industries. It helps them to establish a link between the university and the industries. The Vice Chancellor BBAU is the chairman and the coordinator CIIPP is member secretary of a distinct advisory committee consisting of the visionary people from the different fields including industry and academia. An executive committee of CIIPP is also nominated to formulate the plans and achieve the goals. The CIIPP has motivated the students and faculty to apply for patents on their applied work, to opt for consultancies, if offered, and to identify the Industrial collaborations in the form of collaborative efforts. The centre has formulated patent and consultancy rules, published two BBAU Research Bulletins and has organized some conferences and workshops for connecting the faculty and students to have the exposure of Industrial needs and develop research plans for collaborations.
