The oil palm tissue culture methodology/ technology developed at Directorate of Oil Palm Research (DOPR). Pedavegi has been licensed to three Companies namely M/s Bejo Sheetal Bio-science Foundation, Jalna, Maharashtra, MIs Vijaya Phyto Farms Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad and MIs Sristi Agro Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd. (SABPL), Kolkata for commercial production of tissue culture oil palm planting material. Out of these tl1ree companies, two companies MIs Bejo Sheetal Bio-science Foundation, Jalna, Maharashtra, and M/s Vijaya Phyto Farms Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad have started the production of Oil Palm tissue culture planting material
Oil Palm Developers/ Growers may contact to DOPR and these companies for purchasing of oil palm planting material.
Public and Private Entreprenures/lnstitutes, who are interested in establishment of oil palm tissue culture laboratory for production of planting material may contact to Director, Directorate of Oil Palm Research (DOPR), Pedavegi which is the Nodal agency for the purpose.
