Terms and Conditions for Participating :
The team should have maximum 08 bonafied students as member, excluding 01 team manager.
The team of any University/College can participate in maximum 05 events only.
In any event, maximum 02 members of a team can participate except short play (Skit).
Number of participants in short Play (Skit) is restricted up to 06.
Registration Fees for a team is Rs. 500/-
Participants must be the bonafied students of the University/College.
Participants are required to bring their valid Identity cards of the University/College issued by the competent authority.
No T.A./D.A. will be paid to the participants and team managers by the organizing university.
Each participating team has to carry all the necessary Materials/Tools/Equipments etc. by itself.
During the events Identity cards of the participants will be kept by the Organizing University.
First, Second and Third Prizes will be given for each event. However, participation certificate will be given to each participant.
“Rajarshi Trophy/Shield” will be awarded as the overall team championship to the winner and first runner up.
The last date to apply for participation is 10th February 2017.
In case of any dispute, the decision of the expert panel/
organizing University will be final.

Registration fees is to be paid through Demand Draft/Online payment in favour of “Finance Officer, UPRTOU, Allahabad”, & should be sent to the organizing secretary at the university address along with the registration form before the last date. MO & cheque will not be allowed/accepted. Prior confirmation of participa- tion either through e-mail or telephone shall be required.

About the Program:
Uttar Pradesh is the 5th largest state of India, with the city of Nawabs- Lucknow as the state capital. The official language spoken here is Hindi. Uttar Pradesh is surrounded by Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and the country of Nepal in the north. The land is base to the mighty rivers Yamuna and Ganga - the mother of the land. Both the rivers meet at Prayag, which hosts the world famous Kumbh Festival every twelfth year.
Uttar Pradesh offers richness in terms of culture, cuisine, geography and wildlife. The state is of both of historical and medieval importance and also known as the land of the Aryans, the first clan to invade India.
It has some of the great places as the Taj Mahal, Ghats of Varanasi, Mathura and Vrindavan, Kushinagar and much more that are renowned at the global level.
The state has the mixed culture of the Aryans, the Mughals and the British, as all these communities ruled Uttar Pradesh for considerable durations. Being among the youth state, where majority of population were between 15-29 years of age. The only state Open University in Uttar Pradesh is Rajarshi Tandon Open University located at Allahabad.
UPRTOU is organising one day Yuva Sangam Youth festival for the university students. The festival aims to promote qualities like unity, harmony, leadership, ethical and value among the youth. The festival will highlight the rich culture of Uttar Pradesh and various events will be organised keep the theme at the back drops.

Target Participants:
It will be Inter University event where from each university a maximum of 8 participants (bonafied students of the university) will be allowed to participate. The participants will be students enrolled in the university in the current academic session.
About the University:
U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University has been established through the UP Act No. 10 of 1999 as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature. This University was named after the name of Bharat Ratna Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon, an illustri- ous son of Mother India who made great sacrifices for Independence and dedicated himself to the cause of Hindi as a national language. The jurisdiction of the University is across the State of Uttar Pradesh. The university has carved a niche for itself among the premier academic institution of open learning and distance edu- cation. It has witnessed a very rapid expansion of its activities in various spheres of education. This Univer- sity conducts its academic activities through a diversity of means of distance and continuing education, and function in co-operation with the existing Universities, colleges and institution of higher learning, and makes full use of the infrastructure of these organizations. The courses offered by UPRTOU are recognized by the joint committee of UGC-AICTE and DEC. The University offers wide range of educational programmes related to general education, training, research and extension work through open and distance learning. The University started functioning from the session 1999-2000 with 3344 distance learners. In the current session i.e. session 2016-2017 more than 50,000 distance learners were enrolled for 82 programmes at more than 650 study cen- ters located in different parts of the state of Uttar Pradesh. These study centers are supervised by our 10 regional centers situated in Lucknow, Varanashi, Bareily, Gorakhpur, Agra, Meerut, Gaziabad, Kanpur, Jhashi and Allahabad. The head quarter of the univer- sity is at Shantipuram Sector-F, Phaphamau, Allahabad equipped with good infrastructure facility like Buildings Library, Wi-Fi network campus etc.
About Allahabad :
It is in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad is one of the fastest growing cities in India at present. It is located 205 kilometres (127mi) south of the state capital, Lucknow. It is one of four sites of the mass Hindu pilgrimage Kumbh Mela, the others being Haridwar, Ujjain and Nashik. It has a position of importance in Hindu scriptures for it is situated at Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the holy rivers Ganges, Yamuna and Sarasvati river. Hindi, Urdu and English are the languages that are spoken in Allahabad.
The dialect of Hindi spoken in Allahabad is Awadhi, although Khariboli is most commonly used in the city area. In the eastern non-doaba part of Allahabad district Bagheli dialect is more common. Bengali and Punjabi are also spoken in some quarters. All major religions are practiced in Allahabad. Major tourist destinations are Anand Bhawan, Chandra Shekher Azad Park, Allaha- bad Museum, Khusaro Bagh, Akbar, Fort, Nag Basuki Temple, All Saint Cathedral Church, High Court etc.
