Memo No. ET/T/Foreign/ 54 /2015‐16 Date:09.06.2015 Applications are invited from eligible graduates/post‐graduates of the University of Calcutta who passed the final examination in the stream of Arts / Technology/ Agriculture/ Commerce/ Business Management / Social Science / Basic Sciences / Marine Science / Literature / Law / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Bio‐tech / Bio‐Sciences /Fine Arts / Applied Arts /Nursing/Medicine or any other course offered time‐to‐time by the University of Calcutta for the award of the Endowment Travelling/Foreign Scholarships/Fellowships for the year 2015‐2016 for study/training abroad in the relevant field of studies. Students who have already secured admission in reputed institutions abroad would be given preference.

Students who has availed this Scholarship may not be entitled to apply for this Scholarship for three consecutive years. “Preference only be given to students”.

The Format of application may be downloaded from the University website (www. caluniv.ac.in) under “News and Announcement” column. The filled in form with six set of photocopies of the said application form with one attested set of relevant documents must be submitted, within June 30, 2015 to the office of the undersigned on any working day between 12 noon and 4 p.m.

The University of Calcutta may have the full right to reject the application without showing any reason. Candidates are requested to pay cash Rs.500/‐ only while submitting the form within due date to the office of the Estate and Trust Officer, 87/1, College Street, 3
