Issues Requiring Attention
• The Crop Insurance Portal & CCE-Agri App to be firmed up
• Provision of “Exit” & “Penalty” Clause for defaulting companies etc.
• State’s to have more operational flexibility in deciding Cut-Off dates
• Provision of Administrative cost (@1% of Central Share)
• The programme should be operated on 60:40 (CS:SS) basis like all other Centrally Sponsored Schemes. However, for J&K other hilly states it should be 90:10.
• Incorporation of new risk scenarios in guideline i.e. Wind damage (Lodging), Damage due to wild animals etc.
• CCE Form need to be redesigned and simplified by DES/NSSO.
