One Day 14th National Level Technical Symposium
Vidyut Yantra-2016, a 14th National Level Technical Symposium was conducted on 18th March 2016 in the International Library, SCSVMV University. The fest had several Technical and Non-Technical events. Technical events include Paper presentation, Poster presentation, Mock interview,Technical Quiz etc. Non-Technical events were Crazy Bazar, ADZAP, Non Tech Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Photosnapping etc. All the events were a huge success with active participation of students from all departments of SCSVMV University and various colleges. The department had the privilege to invite for the Symposium, the eminent personality, Mr.A.R.Arun, Chief Executive Officer, Lyton Renewable Energy Solutions(P) Limited as the chief guest. He inspired the students with his speech on the Topic Solarpreneur explaining the concept about solar Energy and entrepreneurship in solar energy industry.
The Symposium was an appropriate platform for students to come up with their innovative ideas. Some students emerged into good organizers and volunteers. The valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof.Dr.Sriram, Dean – Faculty of Engineering & Technology . All the awards were given during the Valedictory ceremony.
Organizing such an event is never an easy task and it would have not been such a success without the support of Prof.Dr.Vishnu Potty - Vice Chancellor, Prof.Dr.G.Srinivasu - Registrar and Prof.Dr.Sriram, Dean – Faculty of Engineering & Technology .They provided all the eminities for the fest and kept encouraging the student’s hard work. The hard work of all the organizers and volunteers was responsible for the success of Vidyut Yantra-2016.
