EVALUATION METHOD FOR ONLINE CAR PARKING RESERVATION SYSTEM

Abstract- The main aim of this project is to reduce the traffic in the parking place. Normally people or society can see in the multiplexes, cinema halls, large industries, and function halls there is problem they have to go and search which line is empty and which stripe consuming abode to park the vehicle, for parking formerly they want staffs for parking in accurate place, so it is the cash consumed procedure. So to avoid this problem an evaluation web based method for Online Car Parking Reservation System is implemented.

The car park is very significant all over the world especially in the cities of the countries.

Keywords: Car Parking, People, City, Web application, Pollution.

1. INTRODUCTION

Now a day, people face parking problems in most of the cities. Hence, this project offers a web based reservation system where user can check for the availability of space for parking and if available they can book the space and can park their vehicle. Every single day lots of car drivers spend the much more time to find where to park. The outcome of this condition is theft in urban areas, growing traffic congestion and frustration of drivers.

In order to solve this problem, the implementation of Online Car Park Reservation System in this city for managing parking places is mandatory. The objective of this project is to develop a web application which deals with traffic and parking problem so that the people can get easy access to parking places and results in less pollution.

2. LITERATURE SURVEY

In this paper, we mainly focus on designing a new parking management system that assists users to find the authorized parking areas in the nearby areas by using this web application. In addition, an important goal of the system is to reduce the traffic searching for parking, hence reduce energy consumption and air pollution.

It will allow the drivers to reserve a parking place online and reduce time and cost. This greatly facilitates the user as his parking slot will be confirmed and would not waste time in searching the slot for parking.

This application will help the user to find the parking space when he/she visits the area. The application ensures the safety of the identity of the user by addressing user by username. Once the user reaches the parking area then he can park the vehicle in the confirmed slot. Once user renounces his slot then it appears reserved for other users and after leaving the slot it is shown as 'available' for other user. In this application, we have also taken care that the person who is under the age of 18 years cannot register or park the vehicle.

3. OBJECTIVE 3.1 Specification

The minimum specifications which are required to make the application work properly can be broadly divided into two categories.

 Processor : Dual Core and above

 RAM : 1 GB

 Monitor : SGA/VGA

 Keyboard : Multimedia

 Mouse : 3 button or optical

 Hard disk : 2 GB 3.3 Software Specification

 OS : Windows XP/7/8/10, Linux and MacOS

 Frontend : Sublime, Notepad or any text editor

4. WORKING AND ADVANTAGES

Comparatively to various parking reservation System, it will low in cost and provide better place to vehicle.

The various advantages of this system are as follows:-

 It will help visitor to find parking locations easily.

 It will help in reducing congestion on roads.

 It will save time and cost.

 It will help in reducing pollution.

Fig shows that how to register and make space for parking.

5. DISADVANTAGES

The various disadvantages of this system are as follows:-

1. The person should have knowledge to use the web application.

2. They must have internet connection to access the web application.

6. FUTURE SCOPE

This web application is a small step to make an area traffic free and pollution free. This can be developed in future for a wide area like a city or a state or a country so that it can help people on large scale. This can be proving as a solution to make our city clean and smart.

Since the air pollution and noise pollution mainly occurs due to vehicular pollution so it can be helpful in reducing the pollution and eventually it will help people in living a healthy life.

7. CONCLUSION

As conclusion, the objectives of Online Car Parking Reservation System have been achieved.

The difficulty of searching available parking slots has been reduced by reserving slots via the proposed system. Users can get learn about parking areas for particular location. It saves user time and cost in search of parking space available in such a long parking areas.
