Abstract:-Since its inception, cell phones have been completing our lives in many ways. As cell phones have arrived the perspective of looking at life has altogether changed in positive manner. Since these changes take place, some people like the invention of cell phone and some did not like this. One of the most important problems happening with cell phones in today’s times is that people use them anywhere and anytime. Still there are some negative impacts of cell phones but my research would only include the positive aspect. My research is centred on few areas in cell phone communication, such as the growth of cell phones, calling, text messaging etc.

INTRODUCTION

These days, the mobile phone plays most important part in our lives in terms of fetching several benefits to us. From connecting people all over the world to making their lives easier, cell phones do everything to attract everyone from almost every age group. Cell phone has become a necessary device for all of us to carry including house wives, business man, students, kids etc.

Usually, the cell phone will surely bring about a lot of reward and return. Firstly, it is one of the quickest modes of communication in our day to day life. It means we can simply connect with our friends and family members irrespective of where they live by calling or texting.

Secondly, cell phone also entertains people. We can play games or listen to music anytime and wherever we want. In fact, by using latest smartphones, we can download apps to access the internet so as to watch films and stay in virtual social network. At last, if we have a smartphone in hand, our way of studying has been changed and became more effective as we can look up the dictionary and other useful source of information which is useful for studying.

However, cell phone also has many disadvantages. Firstly, user tends to get addictive towards their cell phone if they are extremely dependent on it. Cell phones restrict the human communication if people are inclined towards cell phone in the events like meeting, class demonstration, in the park.

Many people find their cell phone so

important that they communicate via text messages or whatsapp messages. Too much usage of cell phones will make people lazy and less communicative. It influence students mentally and physically both by distracting them.

At last, Cell phone is important for making our lives simpler. Its importance depends on the way usage.

ADVANTAGES OF MOBILE PHONES

 Develops connection

With the help of cell phone you can always stay connected to your family, friends and peer groups. In today’s time cell phone gives you the privilege to connect with everyone from all over the world especially when you are far away from your loved ones.

 Business on Call

Zillions of people run their business on telephones. And every single day the job opportunities are created for the youngsters. With the help for cell phones we can control our business.

 Students Applications

For students, there are several learning applications in the app store. With the help of these apps students can change the way of studying. In fact, they can learn and find more prospects to get perfect in their subject of study.

 Entertainment

Entertainment is necessary for each one of us. Mobile phone not only entertains you but also develops your moral values through various informative stories and programmes. Now days, children love to grasp their parents cell phone. In that

2 case you can simple switch on the parental control system and open only those content which are okay to watch for your child. Sometimes, it is a good idea that kids in the homes under the eyes of parents.

 Location Detection

Sending location and informing your loved ones about your current location has now become very easy. GPS technology helps you to track down your closed one’s location. In fact, you can send the location to other person by only touching the location icon. While travelling also, you can opt for this option. It lets you tell your family and friends about your current location status.

 Fashion Symbol

Presently, everyone possesses mobile phone. It makes you feel more fashionable and high end in front of other people.

With good quality handsets you can create you own style statement.

 Alarm & Reminder Notes

Usually we forget our day to day activities.

In order to make yourself alerts and active you can simply put a reminder note or an alarm. Suppose you want to get up early in the morning, you can feed the alarm.

And if you want to remember a meeting call or friend’s birthday then you can set a reminder note. This will help you stay active and alert without even making you feel embarrassed.

 Hub of Utilities

Every feature is now available in just one device. You can get an easy access to camera and calendar so that you can capture the beautiful moment of your life and also access to past and future events.

If you want to simply calculate your expenses then you can take the help of a calculator. You do not need to buy a separate device for all this. Your Smartphone is enough to do these smart tasks at one go. In fact, numerous mart phones including the simple sets also have built-in torch so that you don’t need to buy a separate torch.

 Transferring data

Transferring data in a few minutes has now become very easy for cell phones.

You can send or receive data from one device to another very easily. Your pictures, documents, videos and other important stuff can quickly be transferred from one device to another device within seconds. You can also bank your data in cell phone.

 Legal Situations

Many times we face legal issues in life but if you have stored up the proof then you can simply save yourself. As a proof you can store video, audio and pictures. This will help you solve your legal issues.

LITERATURE REVIEW

According to Drew Hendricks, all the cell phone users, 63% use cell phone to go online. Drew further elaborated that for businesses, easy internet access enables employees to stay connected with the presentations, emails, documentaries from anywhere. However there are several disadvantages connected to it. Drew invented that constant connectivity with business will reduce the gap between work and personal life as employees will continuously remain at work during evening hours, weekends as well as on vacations. (Drew Hendricks).

On the other hand Keith Evans described the advantages and limitations of mobile phones for small business enterprises. As per the study, unlike landline telephones, mobile phones provide more mobility to the users, things become easily accessible and it also provide cost advantage to the small business. The study also described some of the limitations of cell phones. In rural areas, there can be issues of server, network services, data coverage etc.

Study conducted by Julia describes that some cell phones are so much technologically upgraded that they can perform all the functions which a computer can. Hence it becomes easy to access internet, write emails, or send and receive documents. It increases the flexibility and saves a lot of time and cost incurred in some business transaction.

Smartphone are the handiest, easy to use, and compatible device as people carry their personal smart phones with them all the time. (Google MobileAds 2011).

Jackson Dawson and Wilson 2003 studied the phenomenon of emails and have claimed that email services increase the work efficiency as well as productivity.

CONCLUSION

Cell phones are said to play an important role in the process of communication. It helps to connect with friends and families living miles apart with no time and one of the biggest advantages of mobile phones

3 is its size and compatibility. Apart from calls and messages, these days it is also used as personal diary by many of the people and they even tend to store their private information, it helps to take pictures, internet facilities and games, and many more attractive applications has created a special craze towards mobile phones particularly among youngsters.
