ZIMBRA 8.8 – JNCASR's new mail Server

1. Configuring MS Outlook – Please note old versions of Outlook is not supported by the new Server.

Mention your full email address

You can choose account type as IMAP/POP3

Enter Server name for Incoming as – mercury.jncasr.ac.in Port: 993

Enable SSL/TLS

Enter Server for outgoing mail as – mercury.jncasr.ac.in Port: 465

Encryption – Auto

Now enter your Password for the account.

2. CHATS

You can use the new Zimbra Chat feature on the right hand corner. Clicking on the Blue bar will minimize the chat feature.

To add a new friend – Click on add buddy (Note: You can add only JNCASR account users).

3. Using Mail Forwarding option – You can forward your mails to an external account such as Gmail as shown below.

Click Mail – Enter the details & Click on Save (Left top corner)
