John: Where do you want to go?
Kumi: I’d like to buy some clothes.
John: OK. Let’s go shopping for your clothes before lunch.
Kumi: Um... My favorite shop opens at 11:30 on Sundays, so we won’t have enough time to look at clothes.
John: How about going to the library before lunch? I need some books to do my homework.
Kumi: That’s a good idea. I need some, too. So we can go to my favorite shop after watching the movie.
John: All right. I’m looking forward to going on our date next Sunday.

When I was an elementary school student, I wanted to be a nursery school teacher.
I liked children very much. I wanted to take care of children and play with them. I still like children, but I am much more interested in movies now. I like watching movies, especially family movies, so I’d like to make movies which are good for children. I want to make children happy. That’s why I’d like to be a movie director in the future.

クミ：やあ，ジョン。今度の日曜日にデートしようよ。
ジョン：もちろんいいよ。映画が見たいな。冒険映画はどうかな？
クミ：いいね。何時に始まるの？
ジョン： 2時だよ。
クミ：じゃあ，映画の前にたくさん時間があるわね。
ジョン：どこに行きたいの？
クミ：少し洋服を買いたいの。
ジョン：いいよ。昼食の前に君の洋服のショッピングに行こう。
クミ：んー，わたしのお気に入りのお店が開くのが，日曜日は11時30分なの，だから洋服を 見るのには時間が足りないわね。
ジョン：昼食前に図書館に行くのはどうかな？ 宿題のために，何冊か本が必要なんだ。
クミ：いい考えね。わたしも本が必要なのよ。それなら，わたしのお気に入りのお店には，映画 を見たあとに行けるわね。
ジョン：いいね。今度の日曜日のデートが楽しみだなぁ。
クミ：わたしもよ。

わたしが小学生だったころ，保育士になりたいと考えていました。わたしは子どもが大好きなん です。子どもたちのお世話をして，いっしょに遊びたかったんです。今でも子どもは好きですが，
今はそれ以上に映画に興味があります。わたしは映画を見るのが好きで，とくに家族向けの映画が 好きです。なので，子どもにふさわしい映画を作りたいです。わたしは子どもたちを幸せにしたい んです。そういうわけで，わたしは将来映画監督になりたいです。
