My name is Aki. I am a high school student. I am in the badminton club. I will tell you about the summer camp I went to during the summer.
We went to Shizukuishi in Iwate Prefecture. On the first day, we met at Omiya Station to take a bullet train. It took about two hours from Omiya to Morioka. After we arrived at Shizukuishi Station at 1 p.m., we *headed for the city gym to practice badminton. After the practice, we took a bus and went to a hot spring near the gym. We sweat a lot, so it was very comfortable when we were taking a bath.
On the second day, we practiced for two hours in the morning and went to a noodle restaurant for lunch. The noodles we ate were called Morioka Reimen (Morioka Cold Noodles). It was a little bit spicy but tasted very good. We enjoyed it very much. In the afternoon, we practiced from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm to prepare for the next day's match.
On the third day, we had a badminton match with local high school students. We played three games. We won the first game but then we lost the last two games. They were very strong. I think we should practice harder to win next time.
I really enjoyed the summer camp. It was fun to talk to the other members in the evening. I would like to go there with them again next year.
