(3) Study Plan (including a tentative list of courses you would like to take; please use the following link https://cos.adm.nctu.edu.tw/en/Course/CourseList/adMain .asp for your reference)
(4) An original transcript of academic records translated in English or Chinese
(5) A letter of recommendation in a sealed envelope (6) A copy of student ID card of the home institute
(7) A copy of passport or other equivalent supporting documents

Available Courses for Exchange Students
Click on the following link http://timetable.nctu.edu.tw/ for courses offered by NCTU. Instruction:
Choose English in “Language”. The system will switch to English once you click on English.
Choose “College” in the “Search for Department” section and search for the program under the college you choose.
Tick the box in front of “Other Search Parameters” and click on
“English Medium Courses”.
Numbers of Credits per Course
Undergraduates (except senior students) must select 15 credits per semester; senior students must select 9 credits per semester; graduates are required to take at least 2 courses per semester.

Arrival and Orientation Programme
Suggested Date of Arrival
Students are suggested to come to the campus 2-3 days prior to the new semester. (For 2014 Spring, the semester starts from 17th February)

We provide orientation for all of exchange students. However, the actual date would finalise before the start of the semester.

Health Insurance Students are recommended to purchase the insurance in their home country which would cover their stay in NCTU.

Accommodation On campus :NTD 13,000 (USD 433) (per semester) Off campus: NTD 6,000~11,000 (USD 200~370) (per month, depending on the size and facilities)
Meals NTD 300 /day

※Exchange students nominated by their home universities are exempted from paying tuition fee. However, they are subject to pay miscellaneous fees indicated in the table below.
