What Is the Meaning of Life Story Research in Language Education?

Abstract

This study clarified the relationship between the learning of languages and the gaze by pay- ing attention to a gaze that appeared in the life story of a woman with multilingual back- grounds. As a result, the place of the life story interview transformed the place of rais- ing up relationship . On the place, there was established the gaze which reflects deeply on

languages and life . The process of the interview will be the process of raising the gaze at language learning and also cultural practices . There actually is the meaning of life story research in language education.
