Job aids of accounts transition of

Outlook for Windows OS

This procedure explains how to switch the account to the new email account (c2c.ac.jp) in the Outlook application on Windows.

※The job aids is mainly based on Outlook 2019, so there may be some differences from your environment. There should be no major differences in the way you set up your system, but please feel free to contact us if you have any questions after following these steps.

01 Click [Start] and launch

[Outlook].

02 Click [File].

03 Click [Account Settings],

then select [Account Settings].

04 Click the [Data Files] tab,

and then click [Add].

※ Some people may have multiple registrations.

05 Enter [temp.pst] as the file

name, and click [OK].

06 Make sure that the line [temp] is added, and then click on the [Email] tab.

07 Select the email address that

you used before and click [Remove].

※ Please be careful not to delete any addresses other than the following business addresses (e.g., addresses for personal use).

・ ygk.ed.jp

・ ytos.ygu.ac.jp

08 Click [Yes].

09 Make sure that your previous

email address has

disappeared, and click Close.

10 Click the [X] (close button) in

the upper right corner to close Outlook.

11 Click "Start" and launch

"Outlook".

12 Click [File].

13 Click [Add Account].

14 Enter your new email

address (@c2c.ac.jp) and click [Connect].

15 [ Outlook 2016] Enter your new email

address in the [Email Address] field, and click [Next].

※You do not need to enter a password at this time.

16 If a pop-up asks for a

password, enter the password for your new email address and click OK.

At this point, please make sure that the address you enter is [email protected], which is your new email address. If it is not, please correct it.

17 Click [OK].

18 Click [OK].

19 Click the [X] (close button) in

the upper right corner to close outlook.

20 Click [Start] and launch

[Outlook].

21 Click [File].

22 Click [Account Settings],then

select [Account Settings].

23 Click the [Data Files] tab.

Select the name of [temp] , and click [Remove].

24 Click [Yes].

25 Make sure that there are no more lines of [temp.pst] file, and then click [Close].

26 Make sure that the previous

mailbox is deleted and a new mailbox is created.
