유엔 대한민국해양법회의(BBNJ) 하에서 새로운 법적 장치에 대한 협상을 시작합니다. 위와 같은 맥락에서 유네스코 정부간해양학위원회(IOC)는 유엔기후변화협약(UNFCCC)을 준수할 것을 약속합니다.
회기 중 위원회 및 작업반 회의 참가 활동
이번 회의에서 대표단은 각종 의제와 위원회 및 워킹그룹 회의에 적극적으로 참여하여 이야기를 나눴다. 한국은 발언을 통해 의제의 중요성을 고려하여 지속적인 논의가 필요함을 제시하고, SDG 14는 보호에 초점을 맞춘 다른 목표와 달리 해양의 보호와 이용을 의미하는 만큼 SDG 14에서는 이와 관련된 전략을 효과적으로 수립할 것을 권고했습니다. 이번 회의에서 예산 부족에 시달리고 있는 것으로 확인됐는데, 이에 대한 지원 방안을 검토하고 향후 구성될 워킹그룹에 적극적으로 참여하는 것이 필요하다.
따라서 IOC 사무국이 워킹그룹 구성을 위한 문건을 회람할 것으로 예상되므로 정부도 적극적으로 참여하고 대응해야 한다. G7 국가를 중심으로 유엔총회 결의안의 타당성과 추진 가능성을 적극 검토하기로 했다.

These are the results of the efforts of the IOC, other ocean-related international organizations and marine experts from the member states. And the IOC should provide member states' statements on the concrete action plans for the preparation of the first triennial conference on oceans and seas in 2017 in Fiji.
We are quite excited about the project and are looking forward to the successful launch of the project. Isabu' in October, which is one of the most advanced vessels in the world. The Republic of Korea would like to express our appreciation for the documents on the future of the IOC, especially for Dr. Dr.'s efforts. The future of the IOC has been discussed as one of the essential agendas since 2008. In this regard, I would like to recommend the Secretariat to reflect these points of conflict properly in their activities to implement SDG 14 for the future of the IOC.
Proposed Decision: This document forms part of the Executive Secretary's report to the Executive Council. Function F: Development of institutional capacities in all the above functions, as a cross-sectoral function. In order to ensure at least some level of stability for the operational programmes, the restructuring of the Secretariat was proposed by the Executive Secretary of the IOC and approved by the Director General of UNESCO.
The remainder of the additional funding represents only a partial restoration to the pre-2011 level of activity funding for IOC. The contributions to the IOC Special Account, as well as voluntary contributions to specific projects by means of funds-in-trust modality, are requested within the framework of the Supplementary Additional Program of Extra-Budgetary Resources (Proposals available as Appendix to this document.
