MATERIAL AND TECHNICAL BASE OF THE DEPARTMENT

During the last five years, new laboratories equipped with equipment in the field of automation, such firms as:

ACADEMIC MOBILITY

OMRON (Japan) laboratory for ndustrial automation;

«National Instruments» (USA);

FESTO Gmb (Germany): laboratory integrated automation of technological processes and technical systems, automation of continuous technological processes, robotics and micro - processor control systems, study pneumoautomatics and mechatronic systems.

On the basis of these laboratories, the teachers of the department regularly undergo trainings, organized by FESTO Didactic such as "Basics of mechatronics", "Programming logic controllers Siemens "," Control systems level, flow rate, pressure, temperature ", "Modern industrial pneumatic automation"

Aims at expanding international cooperation of ENU through the exchange of experience and

knowledge among students and staff.

Students have the opportunity to go to a partner university for a period from one semester to one academic year for training.

International cooperation of the department carried out with the following foreign universities:

Tomsk Polytechnic University (Tomsk, Russia);

Belarusian National Technical University (Minsk, Belarus):

Belarusian State University informatics and radioelectronics (Minsk, Belarus);

Turkish National University (Istanbul, Turkey);

Binghamton State University (New York City);

Rochester Institute of Technology (USA), etc.

Prerequisites: Linear Systems automatic regulation (5 credits),

Professional profile graduates: engineering activities in automation and control technical systems and technological processes, as well as in the field of applied sciences aimed at organizing and implementing modern methods and means of creating and development of various automated control systems.

DOCTORATE

8D07102 - "Automation and Control"

Prerequisites: Contemporary Issues system analysis and management (5 credits).

Professional profile graduates: engineering and scientific activities top management in development and application of systems analysis methods complex applied research objects, information processing, targeted human impact on research objects, including issues of analysis, modeling, optimization, improvement of management and decision making in order to increase efficiency of objects functioning research.

PROFESSOR-TEACHING STRUCTURE

The department is formed by highly qualified personnel. Today at the department employs 28 full-time teachers, of which:

6 - Doctor of Science, professors;

7 - candidates of sciences, associate professors;

10 - masters.
