"Restaurant and Hotel Business"
According to the academic calendar for the 2019-2020 academic year, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students of the specialty “Tourism” and first-year students of the specialty “Restaurant and Hotel Business” were sent to summer practice and went through distance online practice.
Due to the fact that a quarantine regime was established in the country in connection with a pandemic in the world, students from May 25 to June 13 were transferred to the department in the online system and underwent practical training according to the given individual assignment of the leader. 2nd year students of the specialty “Tourism” underwent practical training on the basis of the department in the restaurant chain “Mumtaz” and online under a bilateral agreement with the
“Kazakhstan Association of Agro and Rural Tourism” through the zoom platform and according to a program developed jointly with the head of the department and the enterprise. In the course of practice, the tasks were worked out and the results were posted on social networks by the enterprise.

After accepting the summer practice reports for all courses, after briefly listening to the practice reports in the zoom program for groups, the assessments were agreed with the commission created by the department. In June 11, a meeting of the department was organized in 11 protocols, a decision was made to receive final reports on educational, exciting, industrial and educational (international) practice, ratings were put in the Platonus journal.
