INFORMATION LETTER Dear Colleagues!
We invite you to participate in the international scientific and practical conference
“Actual problems of geography”, which will be held on November 17, 2017.
The purpose of the conference is to exchange the scientific views, ideas and opinions; to stimulate the research activities in geography and geoecology; to exchange the ideas, obtained research results, conclusions and proposals between representatives of various scientific fields;
to discuss the actual problems and prospects of the geographical science development at the present stage.
The following directions of reports and reports are proposed:
Actual problems of physical geography and geoecology;
Modern problems of economic, social and political geography;
Problems of recreation and tourism;
Problems of hydrology and meteorology;
Geoinformation mapping and modeling: work experience, development prospects;
Problems of geographical education.
The working language of the conference is Kazakh, Russian, and English.
Regulations of speeches:
in plenary session - up to 15 minutes;
at unit sessions - up to 10 minutes;
in the debate - up to 5 minutes.
All applications received in time and materials, issued and made in accordance with the requirements, are subject to review by the expert commission of the conference. The expert commission of the conference checks and verifies the submitted materials in accordance with the evaluation criteria and recommends for the Conference participation. Authors of speeches that caused great public interest can be suggested to increase the volume of published materials.
The registration application for the conference participant and the abstracts of the reports (see below) are sent electronically in separate electronic files in Word 2007 format to the electronic address of the conference [email protected] until November 08, 2017.
The e-mail subject is Astana 2017, the files should be named in Latin letters by the surname and initials of the first author, for example, Ivanov_AB_tezisy; Ivanov_AB_zayavka. If you do not receive the confirmation of the letter receipt within three days, please duplicate the documents sending.

The requirement to submit materials for publication
Texts of reports up to 4 full pages of typing should be typed in the Word-2007 text editor, Times New Roman font, 14 size, line spacing 1, all margins 2 mm, the report title is at the top in capital letters, lower after a gap of 2 intervals - the surnames and initials of the author(s), the organization and the city is lower, then the text through 1 line. Reports should be submitted in paper and electronic form. The reports in the Kazakh language should be sent along with the electronic version containing the Kazakh font Times/Kazakh, size 14, with all the above
requirements. When mentioning any surnames in the text, the initials are always before the surname; the initials are always after the surname in the lists of bibliography. The bibliography (literature sources and Internet resources) is given at the end of the article, with serial numbering and full output data. The place of publication and the names of publishers, the pages of publication are obligatory indicated. The total number of pages of the book is given in the case of monographs.
Following the results of the conference, the materials will be published in the form of a collection. All participants of the conference receive a certificate. Participation in the conference is free of charge (without payment of an organizational fee). The participants themselves incur expenses for travel and accommodation or the organizations that send them.
