Summary

It was studied the resistance of micro algae cells, taken from water and sediments of Nura river to mercury ions. As result of screening it was taken 2 strains of algae Chlorella vulgaris Chlorella vulgaris var. vulgaris, which are resistant to 0.01 mg/ml concentration of mercury. The strain of Chlorella vulgaris can accumulate 88% of mercury.
