Summary

The article is devoted to the problem of national idea in Kazakhstan and the role of intellectual and political elite in formed of Kazakh identity on the century of XX in Kazakhstan society. And the article’s author came to the conclusion that the intellectual and political elite of Kazakhstan was one of the greatest power in forming of national identity in Kazakh society of that time and so the article is useful for the political study.
