Scientific seminar - Doctoral Student Report (October 16, 2019)
Students of doctoral studies in the specialty 6D011100-Computer Science on the basis of the department of Computer Science regularly speak in scientific seminars on the topic under study. In the next scientific seminar, a third-year doctoral student M.Zh. Mukhambetova made a report on the topic "Software solutions for the implementation of client-server technology and communication with the cloud platform", supervisor doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor M. Serik. The plan of the seminar covered the following topics.
The relevance of implementing software solutions based on client-server technologies in the educational process; setup of MS SQL server and client computers in the local area network of the university; Server configuration and database creation on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, access to the cloud database from client computers; connecting a local MS SQL server based on a university and a server on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform using the hybrid cloud principle; Development of web applications connected to servers using the ASP.NET MVC 5 pattern; Creating an academic environment for use in the educational process. M.Zh. Mukhambetova spoke about the practical foundations of software solutions implemented in the educational process as part of research work, and shared the results obtained during testing.
The teachers of the department and doctoral students asked questions to the speaker on the topic of research and made suggestions. In conclusion, it was noted that the scientific seminar had achieved its goal. It is obvious that doctoral students' presentations at the seminars provide them with scientific and methodological assistance, as well as advice and recommendations from experienced specialists.
