This fact is due to the fact that Singapore responds quickly and appropriately to the challenges of the industrial and post-industrial era, constantly and flexibly improves both traditional and newly created institutions, follows the adopted strategy and constantly adapts it.
In addition, today Singapore has moved to the practice of "catch-up development" based on the broad appeal of foreign capital and orientation to foreign markets, increasing its role in the world arena. ASEAN's main foreign policy goal is to remain the central core of integration in the Asia-Pacific region. Within the framework of ASEAN + 3, political and security cooperation is actively developing, the main vector of which is the fight against terrorism and cross-border crime.
In the economic field, the main emphasis is placed on the realization of the idea of creating an East Asian free trade zone, as one of the main elements in the formation of a new large trade and economic alliance in this region in the future [ 4 ].
