This forum is organized in conjunction with Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) 2013 which is hosted by Universiti Malaysia Perlis or in short, UniMAP. Our university is located in Perlis. The smallest state in Malaysia, Perlis lies at the northern part of the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia and has Satun and Songkhla Provinces of Thailand on its northern border. The University Library which is widely known in Malaysia as Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library is committed to provide platform for discussions on resource sharing among libraries in Malaysia and AUPF member libraries.

Participate in this forum to learn more about effective strategies adopted by libraries in Asia to strengthen cooperative resource sharing among libraries.
Libraries are facing growing challenges towards sustaining and enhancing access to electronic resources. Library consortia plays critical role for academic libraries especially in strengthening buying powers for electronic resources. Librarians need to learn more about best practices adopted by library consortia in selected Asian libraries in order to manage electronic resources effectively.
Library cooperative networks especially for academic libraries are becoming crucially important in the digital environment. How do libraries strengthen and broaden our cooperative networks in the future? Join us to get more answers about the topic.

Cancellation Policy
Registration Fee
There will be no refund on cancellation. However, registered delegates may be substituted at no extra charge. Please notify us in writing at least 2 weeks prior to the conference. Please email [email protected] and quote your invoice number to arrange this.
Registration fee of RM 250.00 is inclusive of attendance in one day forum, conference kits and meals including dinner at Resort World, Langkawi.
If you would like to join a tour to Perlis, visit to UniMAP Main Campus and participate in AUPF Launching Ceremony, you need to pay additional RM 200.00.
