thNSM Scientific Conference, 24 – 25 May 2012
In conjunction with its 27th Scientific Conference, the Nutrition Society of Malaysia presented several categories of awards to outstanding individuals for publication, thesis and oral or poster presentations.
1. NSM Publication Prize 2012
The NSM Publication Prize is aimed at encouraging and promoting local research publications in nutrition science. Under the Infant and Childhood Nutrition Category, 3 prizes were awarded to UKM publications, namely:

Name of recipient : Tan Sue Yee (PhD Nutrition student)

2. NSM Prizes 2012
The NSM Prizes are awarded for the best thesis accepted for a PhD or MSc degree (Postgraduate Prize), or a thesis accepted for a basic/first degree (Undergraduate Prize).
For year 2012, four recipients from UKM received the Postgraduate/Undergraduate Prizes.
