LANGGANAN E-BUKU SCIENCE DIRECT

Perpustakaan telah menambah langganan ebuku terbitan Elsevier sebanyak 24 tajuk lagi. Buku-buku tersebut boleh diakses dan dimuat turun melalui pangkalan data ScienceDirect kerana ia menggunakan platform yang sama. Tajuk-tajuk buku tersebut adalah seperti berikut:

LAWATAN AKADEMIK PELAJAR UITM

Seramai 16 orang pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains Maklumat (pengurusan perpustakaan) semester 3 bersama pensyarah mereka Ph Haliza Yahya telah mengadakan lawatan ke Perpustakaan FRIM pada 4 Disember 2015. Tujuan lawatan adalah bagi mendedahkan pelajar-pelajar tersebut kepada sebuah organisasi dalam bidang sains dan teknologi, termasuk perpustakaanya dari segi pengurusan, koleksi, perkhidmatan dan sebagainya yang berkaitan dengan sesebuah perpustakaan khusus. Ketua Cawangan perpustakaan telah memberi taklimat kepada pelajar-pelajar tersebut.

BILANGAN PENGGUNA / PELAWAT

Perpustakaan FRIM menerima sejumlah 286 orang pengunjung sepanjang bulan September hingga Disember 2015.

* 135 orang (47.2%)-kakitangan FRIM

* 151 orang (52.8%) – pengguna luar

KEAHLIAN PERPUSTAKAAN FRIM

Bagi bulan September hingga Disember 2015 Perpustakaan menerima tiga permohonan baharu untuk menjadi ahli, ini menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan 932 ahli.

PENERIMAAN BAHAN RUJUKAN

Sejumlah 47 buah buku, tiga buah tesis, 10 buah akta

dan 20 salinan standard diterima dalam tempoh empat

bulan ketiga tahun 2015. Manakala bahan terbitan

bersiri pula sebanyak 27 buah jurnal/majalah/buletin

dan tiga buah laporan tahunan.Tajuk bahan-bahan

tersebut disenaraikan seperti dimukasurat seterusnya.
