ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
Nutrition is an important determinant of health in elderly patients and malnutrition in the elderly is often underdiagnosed. Studies have shown that nutritional intervention has resulted in more favourable outcomes.
This symposium by The Nutrition Therapy Team of PPUKM aims to update and increase the awareness among healthcare professionals working with the elderly in the field of clinical nutrition.
Experts from multiple disciplines will focus on various aspects and issues of nutritional support for the elderly.
