TEMASEK FOUNDATION - NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE LEADERSHIP ENRICHMENT AND REGIONAL NETWORKING (TF-NUS LEaRN) AWARDS
- APPLICATION FOR SEMESTER 1, AY2010/2011 (AUG – DEC 2010) NOW OPEN!
I am pleased to inform you that applications for the TF-NUS LEaRN Awards for Semester 1 AY2010/2011 is now open. You can nominate up to 4 undergraduates from your university for the above award, ranked in order of nomination.
Please note that successful candidates will be receiving a lump sum of $6,500 (Singapore Dollars) as allowance for their semester of study at NUS. Payment of their air ticket and accommodation should be made from the allowance.
Award requirements:
I. Students are expected take a minimum of three and a maximum of four modules at NUS.
II. Students are also expected to sit for examinations for at least three of the modules that he/she has registered during his/her one semester stint here.
III. As the award requires the students to show evidence of leadership abilities and commitment to serving their community and country, students will also be expected to participate in service learning activities during their stint in Singapore.

(2) Application and Admission to NUS Non-Graduating Programme – Deadline: 15 April 2010 for online application, 1 May 2010 for supporting documents
Important Update!
In order to further improve the services available to students, some upgrading works will be carried out on the online system at the end of this month until the first week of March 2010. For students who make an application through the system on or before 31 January 2010, please be assured that we will preserve the information and process the application in due course. Beyond 31 January 2010, the on line system will be closed and will open again from 8 March 2010 onwards. Please refer to the attached letter for more information.

Nominated students are required to submit their online application at the following link:
https://aces01.nus.edu.sg/ngAdmForm/index.jsp. Kindly note that the “Student category” section of the application (Page 1 of the online application) has to be indicated as “Exchange”. After submitting the online application, please save and print a copy of the application. (3) Module selection
The NUS Bulletin provides a detailed list of the courses and modules offered at the NUS faculties and schools.
Modules/courses from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, University Scholars Programme and Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music should be excluded. Please note that the approval of the selected modules is subject to fulfillment of the prescribed pre-requisites, availability and timetabling factors.
