FRIM s canopy walkway
closed during Aidilfitri holiday
KUALA LUMPUR The Forest
Research Institute Malaysia FRIM will close the canopy walkway near its headquarters in Kepong here from 27 Aug to 5 Sept in conjunction with the Aidilfitri holidays
FRIM s Corporate Management Head Norhayati Nordin in a state ment here yesterday said that the walkway would reopen on 6 Sept
Visiting hours are from 9 30am to 2 30pm except on Mondays
and Fridays
The hanging bridge which was closed for repair and mainte nance since 1 Dec last year was re opened on Tuesday
Located in the Bukit Lagong Forest Reserve the walkway sys tem spanning 150 metres is sus pended between trees at about 30 metres above ground
The bridge has three rest platforms which offer visitors a panaromic view of the forest
