Gender inequality in Ukraine refers to the economic, social, political and educational inequality experienced by individuals whether male or female in Ukraine. This is also an ongoing issue at every level of Ukrainian society,

where discrimination against women is unavoidable in everyday life..

Among the countries that have laws on the inequality of men and women in it is Ukraine. Gender inequality in the employment sphere worsened with the labor market situation in the Ukraine until the end of February 2022. Thus, significant differences between men's and women's jobs and discrimination against women were revealed by the Ukrainian labor market (Korotka, 2018).

Gender stereotypes rooted in traditional Ukrainian culture are reported to be at the root of the situation. In addition, due to weak legal regulations in the country as well as not having sufficient social institutional power and lack of political will, the cultural environment in the Ukraine worsened even more than before (Andrusyak, 2018; Samoilenko et al., 2020).

There are two successful measures, one of which is in the legal field, in this field, certain parties should enact laws where parents are allowed to take paid paternity leave (Yaroshenko et al., 2021a).

In addition, the authorities must support the entry of women into the labor market through programs that develop and support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), (Goncharenko, 2019).

In conclusion, a very important component in the socio-economic development of the state is the problem of gender inequality at current level of community development. It also found that gender segregation will create obstacles to proportional filling of vacancies by men and women, and therefore, it will also make a labor market inefficient.
