PUTRAJAYA: The government has decided to continue with the work from home (WFH) policy as part of the preventive measures against the Covid-19 virus.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the WFH practice should be done whenever possible and with minimal disruption to the organisations' daily operations.

"I discussed the matter with the finance minister today on the matter and we will issue advisories to the employers.

"We encourage employers to continue WFH or on rotation basis to ensure a safe environment for the staff. We should also avoid face-to-face meeting for the time being.

"This a measure as we need to balance between public health and economy recovery,"

he said in a press conference today.

Khairy said employers are also encouraged to assist their workers to get face masks and help them undergo regular Covid-19 tests.

He also urged companies to take up incentives from the Finance Ministry to modify the ventilation system at the workplace.
