organised a study tour for 25 of its Primary 6 pupils to Kuching from Nov 12 to 14.
The 15 boys and 10 girls were accompanied by seven teachers
and two `Pembantu Pengurusan Murid' (pupils' management assistants).
Tour leader Shin Apong said the objectives were to give exposure to the pupils and to let them get information on various
interesting places in Kuching.
"Among the places we visited were Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) Sarawak station, Sarawak
State Library and Kuching North City Commission Orchid Garden.
"We also went to the Astana, Sultan Iskandar Planetarium and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) campus, " he said.
At Unimas, they were briefed on various courses and facilities, and at RTM Sarawak, they met radio deejays and television presenters and watched them presenting on-air.
