INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS SOCIETY (INTECHSS)
Information and Communication Technology Students Society (INTECHSS) of Centre for Foundation Studies IIUM (CFS IIUM) is a group of students from the ICT course. Our society
is leading to a higher state along with our vision to produce excellent students with proficient skills, especially in ICT, to benefit the society and the university. Also, our noble
mission in sailing this society is to achieve excellence enhancement of ICT knowledge by emphasizing the creativity of students in the use of modern technology.
Through the years, the society has held and joined various types of programs to fulfill our vision and mission. In our early first semester, we were already got visited by our senior of
ICT courses from the Gombak campus and held a program with them. The three-days program was filled by giving a tour around the CFS IIUM campus to the students from the
IIUM GOMBAK campus as a welcoming gesture from INTECHSS. Besides, we had a talk delivered by one of the students from IIUM Gombak about programs held by the ICTSS, the
society for students from the ICT course in the IIUM Gombak campus.
Furthermore, our society has also conducted another program, which is Appreciation Day.
Just like the name of the program, this program was held as a sign of appreciation to the students from the ICT course who got their CGPA 3.5 and above in the exam. These students
received certification and goodies as a sign of appreciation for their excellent achievement in the exam. All students from the ICT course have been invited to join the program as a motivation to study hard. One of the most exciting in this program was that all the students
had an enjoyable feast to celebrate each one of them for their hard work in studying. Also, to give themselves a moment to chill and forget all the stress and struggles for a moment besides strengthening the bond between the students of the ICT course as INTECHSS family.
Moreover, our society also planned to visit the 10th Creation, Innovation, Technology &
Research Exposition (CITREX) 2020 at UMP Sports Complex, Gambang Campus, which was one of the programs of INTECHSS. CITREX is a medium for researchers to showcase their high-tech invention and innovation products to the community while grabbing a chance to win CITREx 2020 gold medal. The objectives that we could gain from this program were that
it would help us know which field or course we have more interest in so we could set our target of what we want to further study. Besides, we could share the knowledge about things that we learned from the program to our colleagues in the hope that we would fulfill
the vision of INTECHSS. Unfortunately, our proposal was rejected, and we couldn't proceed with this program because the program crashed with student's classes. We hope that INTECHSS will be able to go to this program in the future so the students will benefit from
the program.
Therefore, despite many hurdles, the INTECHSS family is thrilled to have this opportunity to conduct thriving and significant programs. We are hoping that this meaningful journey shall
not end. The goal is to train ourselves and the CFS community to always appreciate and persevering in the advancement of technology today. This is not just about being an INTECHSS member but to gain more knowledge to become one of the best future leader and a better khalifah in the eyes of Allah. Together we grab this chance to numerous our
ibadah for the sake of mardhatillah. Let's be part of the Intechss family!
