Invitation to the Collaboration Agreement Signing Ceremony between the Malaysian Working Mothers Forum (MWMF) and

the National Council of Women’s Organisations Malaysia (NCWO)

Currently, women make up 37% of our nation’s workforce. The government has expressed the desire to see this percentage increase. However, this may prove to be a challenge as many women opt to drop out of the workforce in their child-bearing and child-rearing years, when they find the struggle to balance work and home life at its hardest.

The Malaysian Working Mothers Forum (MWMF) was formed last year to inspire and encourage young working mothers by creating a supportive online community where they can seek and find support to face the challenges of a working mother.

To help working mothers cope with the challenges of work and home life, the support from organisations who are experts in women’s issues is vital. The National Council of Women’s Organizations Malaysia (NCWO), a prominent consultative coordinating and advisory body which was established to raise the status of women and their participation in national development, is one such organisation. We are honoured to announce that the NCWO, will be supporting the Malaysian Working Mothers Forum by signing a collaborative agreement with the MWMF.
