Not classidied as Dangerous Goods by the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG Code ) for transporyby Road and Rail.

Classified as a C1 (COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID) for the purpose of storage and handling, in accordance with the requirements of AS 1940. Refer to State Regulations for storage and transport requirements.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Ingestion : Rinse mouth with water. Give plenty of water to drink. If vomiting occurs give further water. Seek medical assistance.

Eye contact : Immediately irrigate with copious quantities of water for at least 15 minutes. Eyelids to be held open. Remove clothing if contaminated and wash skin. Urgently seek medical assistance. Transport to hospital or medical centre.

Skin contact : Wash contaminated skin with plenty if soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-user. If irritation occurs seek medical advice.

Inhalation : Remove victim from exposure - avoid becoming a casualty. Remove contaminated clothing and lossen remaining clothing. Allow patient to assume most comfortable position and keep warm. Keep at rest until fully recovered. Seek medical advice if effects persist.

Notes to physician : Treat symptomatically. Can cause corneal burns.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Slipperty when spilt. Avoid accidents, clean up immediately. Wear protective equipment to prevent skin and eye contamination.

For small spills Wash area down with excess water.

For large spills Use absorbent (soil or sand, inert mateial, vermiculite). Collect and seal in properly labelled drums for disposal. Wash area down with excess water.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

Storage Store away from strong oxisdising agents. Keep containers closed at all times - check regularly for leaks.

Inhalation : Inhalation of high concentrations of mist may cause irritation to the upper respiratory tract. (1).
