KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has taken a proactive approach in tackling
internet problems nationwide following concerns raised in the past few months.
For Sabah, this includes addressing connectivity issues in several locations Statewide such as Kg Sapatalang, Pitas and Kiulu, Tuaran.
The MCMC had instructed service providers to upgrade the network at Kg Sapatalang’s internet centre to a high-speed fibre optic connection at 300 megabits per second, benefiting its local community including YouTube sensation and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) student Vevenoah Mosibin.
