Kerajaan Rancang Perluas Perniagaan Atas Talian
Kerajaan merancang untuk memperluaskan perniagaan melalui dalam talian (online) kepada seluruh usahawan Perusahaan Kecil dan Sederhana (PKS) tempatan kerana itu adalah pendekatan terbaik memasarkan produk ke seluruh negara ASEAN.
Menteri Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed berkata, kementerian telah berbincang dengan SME Corp. dan Bank Negara bagi merangka pelan untuk tujuan tersebut.
Menurutnya, paling penting, usahawan PKS perlu merebut peluang melibatkan diri menjalankan perniagaan melalui dalam talian kerana perniagaan itu adalah peluang terbaik untuk memasarkan produk yang dapat menembusi pasaran di negara-negara ASEAN.
“Pihak kementerian, SME Corp. dan Bank Negara telah berbincang kelmarin di samping merangka pelan khusus untuk membantu usahawan PKS memasarkan produk mereka ke negara ASEAN dan kaedah terbaik kita lihat adalah melalui perniagaan dalam talian.
Justeru, mulai tahun hadapan, kementerian akan memperluaskan perniagaan melalui dalam talian kepada semua usahawan PKS di seluruh negara kerana berdasarkan kaji selidik oleh SME Corp.
penggunaan e-commerce dalam kalangan PKS adalah masih rendah. Daripada 2,079 responden yang dikaji dalam tempoh suku tahun pertama 2014, hanya 7.6 peratus PKS yang menggunakan perniagaan melalui dalam talian manakala 58.9 peratus telah menunjukkan pe ningkatan daripada segi kecekapan dan 74.7 peratus dapat mengurangkan kos perniagaan,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian dalam sidang akhbar selepas merasmikan Showcase Satu Daerah Satu Industri (SDSI) ke-9 peringkat kebangsaan di Pusat Dagangan Antarabangsa Melaka (MITC), Ayer Keroh di sini hari ini.
Yang turut hadir, Ketua Menteri, Datuk Seri Idris Haron; Ketua Pengarah Unit Penyelarasan Pelaksanaan, Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Shukry Md. Salleh dan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pertanian dan Pembangunan Usahawan negeri, Datuk Hasan Rahman.
Mustapa berkata, perniagaan dalam talian adalah kaedah terbaru paling efektif buat PKS menonjolkan produk masing-masing ke luar negara yang dapat mengurangkan kos selain menambah pendapatan berlipat kali ganda.
Justeru katanya, Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) akan menganjurkan kursus, taklimat dan seminar kepada usahawan PKS mengenai kelebihan perniagaan dalam talian.
Mengulas mengenai Showcase SDSI yang penganjurannya masuk tahun kesembilan sejak 2006, beliau berkata, setakat ini sambutan yang diterima daripada pempamer dan orang ramai amat menggalakkan.“SDSI berjaya memainkan peranan untuk melonjakkan pendapatan masyarakat desa melalui pelbagai produk tempatan daripada 13 buah negeri termasuk Sabah dan Sarawak,”
katanya.Beliau berkata, Melaka akan terus mendapat mandat menjadi tuan rumah Showcase SDSI pada tahun hadapan atas kerjasama rapat yang diberikan kerajaan negeri setakat ini.
Showcase tahun ini melibatkan lebih daripada 500 pempamer berlangsung selama empat hari bermula Khamis dan berakhir esok.
Malaysia Posts 9.1% Growth in Investments
Malaysia recorded a 9.1. per cent growth in investments in the first nine months of this year compared to the same period in 2013.
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said the total RM172.3 billion investments were in services, primary and manufacturing sectors.
The services sector was the largest in terms of investments, number of projects and enployment opportunities.The real estate sub sector attracted 56.4 per cent of investments in the servives sector.
“The manufacturing sector also did well, recording the highest for the first nine months,” he told a media briefing today.
Malaysia recorded RM63.5 billion for the period of January to September.Mustapa said the leading sources of foreign investments were Japan. Singapore, China, Germany and Korea.
