If your research dealswith the conference topics, we hope to hear from you. Pleasesubmit a full paper indicating your topic, theoretical framework, research questions or hypoth- eses,methods, resultsand conclusions.The full paper should not exceed six (6) pages. Provide your full contact informa- tion including name,email and postal addresses, telephone number and academic affiliation for each author. Your paper will be reviewed and commented by members of the technical commi tee who have expertise in your topic, method or theoretical framework. This can be a golden opportunity for you to refine your thoughts, openly share your concerns, and' receive constructive criticism from experts and fellow postgraduate students working in your area. It is also a great chance to start building or expanding your professional and academic network. The working language of the conference is English and all printed materials will be madeavailable in English.

Registration fees will cover conference materials, lunches and refreshments for the duration of the conference. Introduction
The Centre for Graduate Studies of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) will be hosting the third National Postgraduate Conference (NPC) on 19th-20th September 2011.This conference is organised for graduate researchers in science, engineering and technology disciplines includ- ing chemical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, geosciences and petroleum engineering, as well as computer andinformation technology to discuss the latest findings within their research areas.
The NPC will also enable postgraduate students to gain experience in presenting their research work in a formal conference environment. The conference will be an exciting and beneficial platform not only for networking among postgraduate students but also for building the essential skills needed to venture into the career world.
About UTP
Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS(UTP) was established on January 10, 1997 when the Malaysian government invited PETRONASto set up a university. UTP aspires to be "A Leader in Technology Education and Centre for Creativity and Innovation:'
