ABSTRACT

Technology is very important in life of today. Technology has no limits and boundaries. It has always been existed and it will never fade out or stop. Instead, technology expands according to the latest lifestyle of people today to ease life on a day­

to-day basis. Most people, like youngsters and teenagers, consider technology as a trend to follow so that they don't feel left behind.

As we can see today, the usage of a computer laptop to adult, youngsters or teenagers and young children is very important. The government also has launched a campaign of having at least one computer in one household. The computer laptop becomes a favor in_ the choice of gadgets for most of the teenagers these days. This is because is to be considered as a very compact version of a computer. They can bring it anywhere at anytime. This factor of the laptop suits the lifestyle of high school or university student which uses the computer a lot for assignments and homework.

Even with the latest technology that we have in our country today, we can still see that there is still no improvement in the design of the laptop. It still has not fulfilled the needs and wants of consumers. From design wise, it still has the open-flip design with the same old square and cubic shaped body. The functions are still very limited as there are not so many gadgets to hook it up with.

A set of questionnaires we passed around the nearest town and housing areas to find out what people think about the idea of a computer laptop. It turns out to be that majority of the users are students. They like it because it is compatible and easy to bring along anywhere.

As a result, the design of the computer laptop has to redesigned and changed and also the functions inside of the computer have to be re-arranged so that it can fit more functions inside of it.
