Vice Principal and Head of Academic Department (Mdm. Ling Soon Ching)
• Students who have not collected their report card are requested to inform their parents to contact their class teacher so that parents may understand the student’s situation at school.
Class teachers may also take the initiative to contact parents.
• There have been many off-campus issues with Senior 2 students during the IGCSE examination period. For example, students being late to the exam hall, forgetting to bring identification card or statement of entry, not returning dishes after meals and etc. Students have been repeatedly reminded to bring their identification documents to the exam hall but the advice have fallen on deaf ears. Moreover, during last week’s SPM BM oral
examination, there were students who requested to change their exam date and some even requested to wear slippers into the exam. Students should reflect on their conduct. Hope that students will take this as a lesson and do not repeat the same mistakes. Your attitude determines your future.
• Hope that students will not forget to bring their identification card into the exam hall in the upcoming English oral examination.
• Starting from 26 June (Wednesday) Senior 3 students will be having tuition during ECA period. The Academic Department will be handing out the timetables to class teachers soon.
• The student recruitment campaign for the 2020 academic year has begun. Students may go to the Academic Department to ask for more detailed informationif they have younger siblings who plan to study at the school. The school will be giving incentives tothose that help recruit new students. Those that recruit Primary 6 students to register for the entrance test will receive a reward of RM4. If the student enrols into the school there will be a further reward of RM30.

• The topic for the speech is “Dreams and Success”.
• There are big dreams and small dreams. Everyone has to make sacrifices for their dreams.
Some are successful but others fail, there are even people that give up on their dreams due to challenges that get in their way.
• Ways to achieve one’s dreams:
Have a clear goal and avoid indecisiveness Have a firm conviction
Have sufficient wisdom Be willing to face challenges

• The road to success will not seek a person by itself and neither will success suddenly materialise. To achieve success, a person has to work hard and strive for it. Persist and keep moving forward, do not make any excuses for yourself.
Head of Discipline Department (Mr. Sean Dominic Wong)
• Attitude is very important. Please respect the teacher that is giving a speech on the stage and keep quiet. It is a rude to talk while someone else is speaking.
• Students who have been absent from school please take note. The Discipline Department will be taking action against students that have been absent for more than 9 days without applying for leave. If there is any uncertainty about the leave application process, please ask for details from the class teacher.
• For the students’ convenience, the school has recently allowed them to wear sports attire 3 periods before their P.E. lesson. However if students do not cooperate with the school, the policy will be cancelled.
• Lately, the reasons for students receiving major demerits have been mainly due to students bringing mobile phones into class. Students have not made use of the lockers provided by the school and have kept their mobile phones in their bags. Therefore, to avoid causing unnecessary trouble, students should rent lockers to store their phones. Hope that students will change their bad habits.

• The deadline of the movie review contest, short story competition and class newspaper clipping competition is on 5 July.
