INTRODUCTION

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the International Conference on Marine Ecosystem 2012 (INCOMES 2012) to be held from 13thuntil 15thMarch 2012 at Persada Johor International Convention Centre, Johor Bahru, Johor. This is the second international conference on marine ecosystem which is organized by the Marine Ecosystem Research Centre (EKOMAR), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in collaboration with the National

CALL FOR PAPERS/POSTERS

The Secretariat of INCOMES 2012 is calling for papers oral or poster presentation. Papers will be reviewed and selected on the basis of relevance to the scopes of the conference and their potential for generating discussion. Papers will be presented in English. We cordially invite you to submit your ideas and insights for consideration in the conference programme.

Authors are requested to submit extended abstracts (3-4 pages) containing initial results, figures or tables for review. Extended abstract should be typed single spaced. Font size 12, A4 with normal margins. Draft full papers are recommended. Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, method used, key results, contributions to the state of the art as well as the scope of the work in the final manuscript. Format for the final manuscript will be provided to authors of accepted papers. Selected papers will be considered for publication in Sains Malaysiana and Journal of Tropical Marine Ecosystem (JTME).
