ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah for giving us the chance to gain our experience and professional skills from this final year project which is called as FYP. This final year project is meant a lot for us so that we can apply all what we have learn during study at class and we could see how an electronic project can be function actually. Would like to thank the UniversitiTeknologi Mara (UiTM) for having this final year project in silibus for last semester that help us to improve our practical and skills for the future ahead.

Next, would like to thank the lecturers who have been helping us from starting until the end of the final year project. Lecturers have give hand us on the form and flow project that would be present for the final presentation. They also giving us advise so that we could make a suitable and correct project for this final year project. With the help of the lecturers the project we could done correctly and properly by according to the flow.

Besides that, we also would like to thank our parents and siblings for support us from thestart of the final year project until the end of it. They always had been there when we needed them. They have been motivating us to always focus and patient while doing the project.

ABSTRACT

Today we are living in century where crime become increasing and everyone wants to secure they asset at their home. In that situation, this project is created to overcome this problem so person will not worry when getting away from his home. This project is made to fulfill our objective to prevent the intruder from try to break our home and to reduce and minimize chances of losing our possession especially when the owner house are little busy have outstation to work for a few days or some family wants back to hometown and have to leave their home.

Smart Security System, provide GSM (Global System for Mobile) which send fast information to user mobile device using SMS.

The hardware of this system has been designed using arduinouno, PIR motion sensor as the primary sensor for motion detection, GSM module, LED for lamp and buzzer for alarm. This security system can monitor home area that surrounding by PIR sensor sending SMS and make the intruder panic and the people will be alert by tum on the lamp and alarm when trespassing the area that detected by PIR sensor.
