EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This is an assignment about a business opportunity relevant to the venture that the student must complete. Each student must run each business according to their wants and desires, as well as their interests. For example, we have worked as a drop shipper for the company EZIMAKER (3D Printing & Laser Engraving), which sells a wide variety of items that can be customized but we work under our own registered company which is A&M Gift Shop. However, I only bought one item, a key chain.

In addition, each student couple also needs to register their business in several registration systems such as Go-Ecommerce registration, MyENT certificate and SSM registration. This assignment will also discuss some components in the business run by each pair of students such as business name, business address, organization chart, mission, vision, product description and price list of goods sold in the business.

Furthermore, this assignment will describe how we run this business. Each pair of students will market their business on Facebook. They are also free to register as any position in the business such as drop shipper, agent or others. The purpose of using the platform is none other than for a marketing strategy for the business being run. At the same time, the overall sales report and conclusion should be submitted at the end of the assignment.

6 2.0 INTRODUCTION OF BUSINESS

2.1 Name and Address of Business

A&M is a company name that was chosen based on our main product. The initials A and M are a combination of the names of two people who formed a business partnership, Afdhal and Mu'izz. Our target market is all age groups because the keychains we sell are appropriate for every occasion.

The A&M Gift Shop is a partnership business. This is because this is a new firm that only operates on a small scale. As a result, the only drop shippers in our organization chart are two of our employees.

9 2.3 Mission and Vision

We believe that every business should have its own mission and vision statements to operate their operations in accordance with their objectives. As a result, we've created a mission and vision for our company so that we know what we want to accomplish in the short and long term.

Mission

 To provide excellent customer service to customers.

 To become the best drop shipper or seller in Kuala Lumpur.

 To become the first choice of keychain among customers.

Vision

To make a keychain by A&M Gift Shop product familiar as the top gift goods in Malaysia with lowest price.

10 2.4 Description of Product and Services

We act as a drop shipper for any product that can be made using 3D printing and laser engraving in our business project from the company named EZIMAKER, but we register our own business under the name A&M Gift Shop. However, we just concentrate on keychain sales because they are the cheapest and simplest to make. This is also because, in comparison to other goods, keychains have the highest demand. Since this is a custom keychain company, the selling of these keychain items is targeted at any consumer looking for a low-cost keychain with designs and patterns tailored to their preferences.

Our business activities do not have a set period because, as a drop shipper, we can carry them out whenever we want. However, we only running the business for a month for this project.

Since the drop shipper role does not include holding stock, we only manage the business online from home. Instead, we concentrate on finding buyers and informing the seller of the next move. We market the keychain on social media apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook. We ask someone who we believe has a good chance of buying it directly.

12 3.0 FACEBOOK (FB)

We developed a Facebook Page when we first started our business. This is to market our products among Facebook users, particularly those who live near our business location, to raise awareness of our lowest-cost offering.

Not only that, but we are aware that individuals nowadays are increasingly interested in online searches and information. As a result, setting up a Facebook page is a good way to connect our company with our customers online. We generated teaser, soft sell, and hard sell Facebook posts with the linked business on the A&M Gift Shop Facebook Page.

There are a few points in the table above that we will go through in greater detail. To begin with, our business project does not necessitate any capital because, as a drop shipper, we are not required to have any business capital or maintain any stock. Second, for a drop shipper like us, the cost per unit is just RM0.80. As a result, having a surplus of that is beneficial to me.

Following that, the sale price per unit is split into two categories: standard and promotional.

The regular price is RM1.30, while the discounted price is RM1.00. The standard price is the selling price for keychains purchased in quantities less than 50, while the promotional price is the discounted price for keychains purchased in quantities greater than 50.

Furthermore, the overall sales were RM69.50. After multiplying by the price, either the normal price or the promotional price, according to the number of units set, the sales volume is calculated.

After that, after deducting the RM0.80 cost price per unit, the net profit of RM17.50 is estimated.

The remaining stock is also non-existent because the drop shipper's job is not to hold stock.

Three people are the number of successful customers I have. The first customer purchased 50 keychains at RM1.00 each, while the second and third customers purchased ten and five keychains at RM1.30 each. Finally, there is no charge for shipping since the customer is responsible for it entirely.

32 4.0 CONCLUSION

We may draw a lot of conclusions from this business project. One of them is that we don't believe the life of a successful entrepreneur is easy and glamorous because starting a company is difficult, and they may have gone through some difficult times before being successful. As a result, we must first experience life as a start-up entrepreneur, and only then can we understand how difficult it is to be a successful entrepreneur.

This is in line with the adage "Don't judge a book by its cover," which means we shouldn't judge an individual based on their appearance or current situation; instead, we should get to know them better and then just judge them by how they act. Furthermore, we must always correct intentions and be modest in doing business because we must remember one phrase: "customers are always right." As a result, we must exercise patience and always treat our customers with a sincere and open heart to avoid unwelcome consequences.
